After the first act of vandalism the Lodge brother’s picked up the pieces and repainted the graffiti but not even a week later this Arizona Masonic Lodge was hit a second time by another case of theft and vandalism. This Arizona Masonic Lodge has now been hit two separate times in 2 ½ weeks by unknown ruffians. The first time we made the brother’s of the Craft aware of it in the recent article, “Arizona Masonic Lodge vandalized”. This time on June 27, 2017 we got to lodge only to discover all the front water faucets were all turned on and the front yard flooded for who knows how long… Not sure if you know anything about Arizona but the water bill isn’t cheap during the summer months. We also have a large metal worked square and compass bolted to the front of the building (as seen in the photographs) that was pulled out of the wall, dragged through the parking lot and over the fence. Unfortunately, this lodge doesn’t have a plethora of extra funds to make cosmetic updates to the facility. It will be a while before they can start to replace the precious emblem. They’ve begun looking for a brother that may be able to assist in the metal lettering and possible replacement of the Square and Compass. If you or you have a brother that would be willing to help this lodge please contact us at Freemasonrysqaured@gmail.com or donate at the Freemason Shop;just indicate that it’s for the vandalized lodge.
The most difficult part is keeping our passions within due bounds; remembering that hate only begets hate. May the G.A.O.T.U. watch after, teach and save those that know not what they do. May brother love prevail and we continue to spread the mortar of peace & harmony.
